The Tekiò Circular and Oval Pendant Lamp, is a hanging lamp in three different sizes, designed by Anthony Dickens for Spanish manufacturer Santa & Cole. Tekiò is a Japanese word for adaptation and the light merges ancient artisan Japanese techniques and craftmenship with warm, dimmeable LED technology. This enables the control of intensity and colour temperature of the lamps. 

Tekiò’s highly technical lighting structures are carefully dressed in handmade Washi paper. The Washi paper is the best material option to achieve Tekió precise look and quailty — due to it’s durability, soft warm glow and handcrafted detailing by skillful craftsmen.

Materials
Washi Japanese paper shade: The Washi paper, which dates back to the 14th century, has been declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. The shades are made  by hand in Mito, Japan.

Metal structure in between the paper shades. White grey powder coated metallic ceiling canopy with power supply incorporated. 5 m black rubber cord.
