MENGEL designs and produces handcrafted furniture primarily made from concrete, crafted locally in Copenhagen. Founded by engineer Georg Mengel, who previously worked in the cement industry, MENGEL embodies a minimal yet sculptural vision. Each piece is thoughtfully balanced, combining concrete’s contrasting qualities—from silky smoothness to rough, unpolished details. Each piece tells its own unique story through subtle nuances and a refined, harmonious expression.
